Components
- ING-27 neutron generator (does not emit radiation when switched off);
- Two detectors of γ-rays based on ∅3”∅3” BGO or ∅3”∅3” LaBr3 crystals;
- Power supplies, data acquisition system
All components are inside a one case on wheels.
Single composite cable for power and data transfer.
Operation is controlled from a remote computer using specially developed software NNASoft.

Capabilities
Fully automatic operation:
- Automatic measurement control
- Automatic data analysis and decision-making
3D visualization of:
- Threat localization inside the inspected object
- Chemical elements distribution inside the inspected object
SmartSENNA can estimate the mass of the found concealed substance.
Applications
SmartSENNA is capable of detecting:
- Security "first responders" (uncovered UXO, unattended luggage…;
- Deminers (identification of "anomalies");
- Chemical weapons demilitarization experts (identification, inspection…);
- Customs officers (manifest verification, drugs…);
- Airport cargo and luggage inspection.
